The Thirty-Nine Articles

The Church of England, 1571; American revision, 1801

Read in Anglican and Episcopal

The Articles of Religion of the Church of England, in the form the Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States adopted in 1801. That revision leaves out Article XXI, on general councils, and rewrites the articles on the creeds and the civil magistrate.
